Daycare

During the day your dog will get to enjoy the outdoors in our fenced-in yards and on days with less than ideal weather-out climate-controlled indoor play areas offer a safe play space with ample potty breaks outside to maintain good house manners. With sandboxes for digging, pools for splashing, balls to chase, and room to run your dog will be happy and tired at the end of their day! Daycare can be an excellent option for puppies, teens, and dog-savvy adult dogs who love other dogs and people!

Our daycare features groups separated by temperament and size as we are able. Our Fear Free certified daycare attendants utilize the principles of positive reinforcement in the play yards to help keep a focus on safety, maintaining good behaviors, and fun!

A typical daycare day (weather dependent)

  • 7:00- 8:30 am: Daycare Drop off - Dogs are separated into play groups.

We recommend a 7 am drop-off for all new dogs

  • 8:30- Noon: Playtime outside (weather dependent)

*In less-than-ideal weather conditions we split time between inside and outside

  • Noon- 12:30: Half-day dogs head home!

  • Noon- 1:00 pm:  Lunches for dogs who come with lunch.

Each dog is given their lunch in either an interactive toy or a slow feeder bowl.

Dogs take a break in a crate to digest their lunches.

12:30- 6:00 pm : Play time/ nap time.

Most of the dogs choose to find a spot in the yards or on the beds to nap between 2-4 pm. Chill-out time is reinforced and encouraged.

Dogs and puppies who need help learning to moderate their activity and play are given breaks in a crate inside. Kongs, nylabones, and benebones are provided for enrichment and opportunities to practice being calm in the crate

All outdoor, indoor, and crate areas are monitored by cameras.
